Quick little update -

Well, my birthday was sort of a mixed bag. Got like, no presents (except for a doors CD from my step-sister Gina which was fuckign awesome ♥ )
But Sin City was kick ass! Let some vaguely ugly guy buy me a drink but hey, free liquor and he was ok, tlaked about movies and shit, then it turned out he was the ex of a girl I went to the club with, akward But later on I wound up dancing with this incredibly hot guy who got my number. He was hot in a sin city way (remember this is a fetish event) he had a mohawk, fangs, a bunch of piercings, a harness and some kind of leather skirt thing on with these big boots. It was working for me though ;) - I'll blah more about that night later though.
Then on Sunday Madeleine calls me up all pissy to inform me that "we have to talk" though she wouldn't tell me what about. I haven't spoken to her since Wednesday and we were fine then so I don't know what's pissing her off now. She even called me on friday to ask me for a number and didn't even wish me a happy birthday or anything, fucking cunt. Then she tells me that "we have to talk" but, since she obviously doesn't want the little bitch fest to about to set-forth ruin her halloween (to hell with my holiday) I have to wait til thursday evening to talk to her. I tell you giving me 5 days to think of all the stuff she does that pisses me off is not in her best intentions.
Anyway, got to run, must pee.

.........I need to get laid big time.

Anyhoo, on to the rest of my life: bored/tired/busy like usual, school's going well, I've got a 94% average or so (something like that, give or take a percent) Oh! I'm happy, though broke because I just got the rest of the X-files, seasons 4-9 at 20 bucks a piece, it was too good a deal to pass up and I got season 1 and 2 of Carnivale! Woo! I also got Harry and the Hendersons, which was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. So yeah, in a movie buying mood it seems. Though now of course since those have been bought up I can pretty put all of my next paycheck into savings. Aside from school supplies, birthday expenses and a Micheal Meyers action figure, of course :)

....Gah, what else, I don't have much to tell. I feel a little lousy that my journal has sort of degenerated into a sparsely updated list of the stuff I buy but fuck it, I'm on the rag right now and can think of little else besides chocolate. I also TOTALLY know that there's something I should be looking up right now but I have no idea what it is.....I should have written it down somewhere.
Hopeing to go to sin city (goth/fetish club in vancouver) in my birthday on the 26th (woohoo, legally allowed to drink soon!) and I think I'll be cleopatra for halloween, though where I'll where the costume I have no idea, Maddy's moved back in with her parents and she was always the one that threw the parties so I don't know what will be going down, that's a bit irritating. I used to look forward to halloween all year 'round and now I keep forgettin that it's a few weeks away. Heresy.
~I think I just remembered what it was that I was supposed to be doing, better go before I forget.

I don't think I've mentioned her that much here, other than when she was my model for the final so here's the long and short of her existence :)
She's twenty eight, been dating her guy (and father of the baby) for about seven years, he's named sebastian and is from Argentina, they just bought a house together and are sort of pre-engaged, she's due May 1st, I found out two days ago and had to wait a day and a half for my dad to call her so she could tell him (idiot *rolls eyes* :P) and she's not going to find out the gender. She's a hippy, it doesn't matter to her. :D .

Now I can start knitting her little things ^_^

Well, other than that not much has been going on with my life, well nothing that doesn't completly pale in comparison....excited cause I got season 1,2 and 3 of the X-files and Halloween 2 (the only truly decent sequel)...stuff like that *shrug*

Woo! I'm going to be an aunt!

 I also like the smell of rain, it's so refreshing and pure, it always makes me think of what things might have been like when the world was new :)  ( it could almost be tied for cinnamon, almost, not quite :P )

Cinnamon, it reminds me of baking, my childhood and my mother :)

Hm, I have no damn money right now because work screwed up my stupid paycheck. I should still be ok cause the next one will be quite big but for some reason (don't ask me why) I decided to splurge a bit and pic myself up a couple of really neat posters from a place in the mall near my school, they're great, and now I have the perfect birthday present for maddy (three months early, she better like it) Still though, it's irritating having to be super careful with money for the next week and a half. Especially since some jackass at work has been stealing from peoples lockers, I lost twenty bucks.
Oh well, still happy about the posters :D The one for me is this really gorgeous one of marilyn monroe, laughing in this satin dress and the one fro maddy is a big shot of James Dean in a sweater, both black and white. DAMN! I just realized I should have taken a photo of this other one I wanted but couldn't afford right now, it's off marilyn monroe (again) but I've never seen it before, she's on her back in a pair of blue jeans and a bra (or bikini top or something) lifting weights. It's fabulous, really, just so awesome. I also got a little one of elvis, I think it's a warhol print, it's a bit trippy.
OH!!! And I found a copy of "The War" on DVD for like six bucks. You've probably never heard of that, as far as I know it's not a very well known movie but it was one of my favorites when I was a kid, I think my sister stole it when she moved out. It's about a couple of kids growing up in mississippi in the late 1960's and this cool fort they build this crazy war thing (that actually gets pretty intense) that they wind up having with the kids next door. It's really good, I almost screamed when I saw it :)
